Pete Mai
Pete Mai, a native of Houston, Texas, is a founding member of the Mai & Na Law Firm. He attended the University of Houston where he earned his undergraduate degree in Accounting in 1995. He received his law degree and graduated, with honors, from The University of Texas at Austin School of Law in 2000.
Pete is an experienced trial and appellate lawyer. He has successfully tried cases to judgment as lead trial counsel and as second chair in many cases with prominent attorneys, such as the late John M. O’Quinn, as well as Robert E. Ammons, and Lloyd E. Kelley. Pete has also successfully handled appeals to the Texas Court of Appeals, the Texas Supreme Court, and the 5th Circuit of Appeals.
Pete was admitted to the State Bar of Texas in 2001. He is also admitted to the U.S. Court of Appeals, Fifth Circuit, and the U.S. District Court, Northern, Eastern, Southern, and Western Districts of Texas.
John Na
John J. Na, a founding member of the Mai & Na Law Firm, was born and raised in a suburb of Dallas, Texas. He attended the University of Texas where he earned his undergraduate degree in Economics in 2006. He then received his Doctorate of Jurisprudence from South Texas College of Law Houston in 2010.
John is a dedicated advocate who has assisted in securing millions of dollars in settlements and judgments for individuals and businesses. In a short, but successful span of time, John has accumulated a tremendous amount of experience in all stages of his litigation practice.
John was admitted to the State Bar of Texas in 2010. He is also admitted to the U.S. Supreme Court, U.S. Court of Appeals, Fifth Circuit, and the U.S. District Court, Northern, Eastern, Southern, and Western Districts of Texas.
John is an Associate Judge of the Municipal Court Department of the City of Houston.
